What this stopwatch does
Stopwatch tracks elapsed time with start, pause, resume, reset, and lap recording. It is made for everyday timing tasks such as workouts, practice sessions, study blocks, cooking steps, speaking practice, tests, and quick comparisons.
The display stays minimal so the time is easy to read. Lap times are available when you need them, and the page can recover the current session from browser storage after a refresh.
How to use it
Press Start to begin timing. Press Pause when you need to stop temporarily, then Resume to continue. Use Lap while the stopwatch is running to record split times. When the stopwatch is paused, the secondary button becomes Reset so you can clear the session.
Use hide mode or fullscreen mode when you want fewer distractions. On supported browsers, fullscreen keeps the stopwatch focused while still allowing laps and main controls.
Privacy and limits
The stopwatch runs in your browser. Session recovery uses local browser storage on your device and does not intentionally upload lap times to a Utiloza server.
Browser timers are accurate enough for normal daily use, but they are not meant for official races, laboratory timing, billing, or safety-critical measurements. Background tabs and sleeping devices can affect visual updates, though elapsed time is based on timestamps when the page becomes active again.
Useful details
Lap times are helpful when you want to compare repeated rounds, sets, attempts, or sections of a task. The newest lap appears in the list so recent timing checks are easy to see without scrolling through the full session.
If you use the stopwatch for long sessions, keep the browser available and avoid relying on it as the only record for important timing. Browser storage can be cleared by private browsing, cleanup tools, or device settings.
Frequently asked questions
Will the stopwatch keep running after refresh?
It can recover the session from local browser storage, so a refresh should not immediately lose the current stopwatch state.
Can I record laps?
Yes. Press Lap while the stopwatch is running to add the current elapsed time to the lap list.
Is it suitable for official timing?
No. It is a convenient browser stopwatch for everyday tasks, not certified timing equipment.
